Here in Baton Rouge, we have the Mall of Louisiana. Other than being a two-story mall with a carousel in the food court, I can't find any reason to find favor with it. Most places of commerce such as this one would have a bookstore or music shop. Not here and not for this poor miserable bastard. If you want to browse aisles of jazz or make fun of all the rap albums with brothas holding fists full of cash posing in front of girls full of ass, you're gonna have to go down the street to the Best Buy. This isn't a bad place, but when you're faced with a few hours of waiting outside a Bath and Body Works semi-annual sale, they could at least have a beer kiosk nearby ... a beer kiosk! ... mother of invention!

I recently went to the mall in Monroe, and Waldens is no longer present. I found it a shame. Yet there are still the overpriced movies and CD shops there.
